The University represents the concerted struggle, guided by scholarly principles, to research, discover and apply credible and lasting solutions and to teach these by means of universal scholarly methods.

As a part of the University, Faculties of Science and Letters are institutions dedicated to the integration, development and dissemination of scholarship. These are institutions and disciplines which are also held in high esteem by far-sighted leaders in search of the bases upon which the future is to be shaped. As well as providing a well-grounded education, Faculties of Science and Letters aim to facilitate students’ critical thinking, thus supporting their ability to conduct independent research and to develop themselves as individuals; they offer students courses and programs of study which will develop their vision, knowledge and thinking skills.

In addition to providing a well-grounded education based on creative educational methods, the Faculty of Science and Letters at Yaşar University aims to develop the self-confidence of its young protégés and aspires to be an institution of which people are proud to be members, bound by ethical values, dedicated to the collective good both nationally and at a universal level, transparent, open to new ideas and constant evolution.
